Ever since I got diagnosed with Asperger’s Syndrome in 2016, my goal was to learn more about my diagnosis and find ways to be involved in the Autism Community. Throughout the years, I been volunteering at Waves Autism Center and learning more about all individuals on the spectrum like me. I learned that many kids who are diagnosed with autism/ Asperger’s are unique in their own way. The reason why I use the word unique instead of different is because many people in the world use that term in a negative way. This causes many individuals to feel like they are unwanted, not needed, and unappreciated. My goal for my company is to improve the world’s knowledge on autism and to be a role model for every individual who is on the autism spectrum. I want individuals like me to feel like they can be successful in their own uniquely way.
